Living the dream

No matter how much you like your job, there are going to be those days. You know, those days when your boss piles on too much work, no one seems to want to cooperate and then a customer yells at you for something that is obviously their fault.

That’s when, inevitably, someone will ask “How’s it going?”

Back in the day when I worked in an office, my stock response was “Living the dream,” no matter how far away from the dream I was at that particular time.

So, when I saw this picture in Waialua, Hawaii, I had to take a photo. Really spoke to me.

By the way, if you’re wondering what the writing on the van means, “Mahalo” means “Thank you” Hawaiian. And, in Hawaii, the custom, like in many Asian countries, you are expected to remove your shoes when entering someone’s home…or van.
